A unique take on the theme. Could have progressed the level mechanics faster though that's more just nitpicking. Drinking water felt like want rather than a need. Overall a strong entry.

Thank you! I agree with you. At the end, the level design didn't suceed in making the drinking a need. I will make that better soon!

I love it!

the graphics are nice, the idea is nice too, it's just that the multi-use theme isn't really implemented well as it is very easy to beat the game without actually drinking water, you can also get stuck without being able to move but those bugs are minor and easy to avoid, and you can also launch yourself really high with a cactus!
this is something I would love to speedrun!

Thanks! I totally agree. I'll adjust and change some things later on so your feedback is very important!

Ironically this is a concept I also came up with for VimJam 3! However I wasn't sure on how I would implement certain aspects so I went another route.

Excellent job on the art and music as well as the overall level design and tutorial aspects.

I would say with a game like this where you respawn to the start of the level, the repeated pop up of what to do can be a bit annoying, so a way for that not to automatically appear would be great! Also found that you can get stuck when you run out of water but haven't given any to the people so you can't finish but you also can't kill yourself on the fire because you've put it out.

Overall though, a great concept with excellent art and music. Good Job!

Thanks! I will adjust some stuff after the jam is finished! Glad that you liked it!
